I did some reading and found out the Monarch was a Victory-class star destroyer, which is 900 m. Looking at the picture of the monarch lego, it seems to be an imperial-class start destroyer. Does anyone know which class it was designed off of?

and if you know your imperial vessels, you can also spot some details indicating that this is an Imperial II star destroyer.

He held a poll on his instagram page. This poll was to decide the name of his upcoming ISD moc. He wrote this in the post: Since the name ‘Avenger’ is taken by great designer @mortesv , I need a new name for my next ISD. Which one is your favorite?

The four choices followers were given in the post were: Basilisk, Bellicose, Monarch and Nemesis.

Followers voted for Monarch and Nemesis went on to become the name of his midi scale ISD. Sounds like he just didn't realise the Monarch was a victory class. I'd also agree with Jerac that it is a Mk II ISD.

Hope this helps to answer your question :)

Just out of curiosity, do these names appear in some books or other sources? I recognize at least Basilisk, which was part of Admiral Daala's fleet of four star destroyers she had in her power at the Maw installation in the Jedi Search trilogy by Kevin J. Anderson.

Ah, as a deep fan of the original Thrawn trilogy (the new books work as well, but they include a lot of "disneytizing" though) should've recognized at least Bellicose, too.
Thank you for these.
