ilive Posted March 7, 2021 Posted March 7, 2021 (edited) Hi everyone here is a MOC made for a french contest. It is based on a middle age book called Tres Riches Heures du Duc de Berry No special technics, everything is quite easy to build ... except the blue half-circles ;) on the left side, a peasant goes to its field, on the right side, a lord at a feast Très Riches Heures du Duc de Berry Edited March 7, 2021 by ilive Quote
Alexandrina Posted March 7, 2021 Posted March 7, 2021 Nice work! Is that miniature shields I spy above the portcullis? They look wonderful! The mix of yellowed/old grey and the new bluish grey works to sell the castle as an aged titan. You mention that the blue semicircles were not easy - do share the technique with us! Quote
ilive Posted March 7, 2021 Author Posted March 7, 2021 (edited) thanks :) about miniature shields, this is the part 27928 with the part 24246 semicircles were not easy because I only use trans slope 1x1x2/3 and I had to find something to do the shape (I used adhesive to help me a bit). It was funny at beginning, not at the end ;) Edited March 7, 2021 by ilive Quote
zoth33 Posted March 7, 2021 Posted March 7, 2021 Nicely designed. I like the wall and the tower, they have some good texturing. The trees look good and nice book. Quote
Sarophas Posted March 9, 2021 Posted March 9, 2021 Great build! Really good mix of micro-scale and minifig-scale, also the book looks amazing! Love it Quote
Yeetforlego Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 EPIC! (Especially Powerful Idealization Creation) Quote
