NOD Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 (edited) Art and Culture: Large townhall A 5 by Philippe, auf Flickr Poppy Port is getting bigger and stronger. It's time to build a town hall. Townhall is written on so it is an Art and Culture Townhall. townhall A 1 by Philippe, auf Flickr We look to the future and build big. Is the building too big at the moment? No matter! We only build once but do it right. townhall A 2 by Philippe, auf Flickr This beautiful building is the townhall. There are still too few buildings on Poppy Port to justify the large town hall. But the settlement will get bigger. townhall A 3 by Philippe, auf Flickr The reception is located in the entrance area. The Sea Rats have taken the other faction as a model. "Hello", you have to pay 1 doubloon for this! Maybe someone is drunk enough and paying for it? Now it's just getting started. A form has to be filled out. ………………… townhall A 4 by Philippe, auf Flickr The people of Poppy Port like the big building. It looks impressive and showcases size and strength. It's a popular meeting place. Edited March 3, 2021 by NOD Quote
evancelt Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 The Sea Rats are getting pretty fancy! Nice looking build, @NOD! How do the Sea Rats like their town government? I pictured pirate town administration more like a free-for-all Quote

You can sit comfortably on the stairs. One step below is a good place for a bottle of "water". Quote
Professor Thaum Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 Each evening the gamblers of Poppy Port tavern toss a coin and the loser ( most often the one which is drunk enough not to notice that the others are swaying him) is mayor for the next day and should have him two-timing all the job/red tape. Nice job @NOD You will grow Poppy Port single-handedly... and with style. Quote
deraven Posted March 3, 2021 Posted March 3, 2021 Excellent! I like the colors you've worked into the building; subtle but add some nice visual interest. One of my favorited details is the patterned tiles on the steps and balcony. Fancy! Quote
Count Vroskri Posted March 3, 2021 Posted March 3, 2021 A lovely one again, @NOD. This one is great, from your path to the trees. It is excellent how thesr builds all have a similar style and yet are all unique, with different shapes and uses. One question though - how did you make that mosaic? Quote

Bodi Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 It's a true SR townhall or a tavern named Townhall? The roof look great, I also like the arched windows and the fully paved baseplate. Quote
