When last we saw our heros way back in October, they had just struck paydirt. Things have been busy in Oleon since. It is time we check back in with these happy three and their now fully operational coal mine. Well they have expanded and deepened the actual mine shaft. And hired some more hands, though those hands are hard to count in the coal dust.

They have also fixed the deathtrap of a path they were taking down to the mine. Now they have a nice wooden platform, complete with a railing.

And even a semi-permanent little mining camp at the top of the cliff to fend off the cold mountain nights.

All nice, much needed... probably lifesaving... improvements. But, the real update is... they are bringing in that coal, fueling the booming war industry in Breshaun.

Built months ago and hadn't had an opening to post it. Buzzer beater for Feb's build limit.

Nice followup Cap, but I can't say I'm a fan of the overhanging cabin, it's just a bit jarring visually to me.

Otherwise, great build though, and you've definitely been showing off your LDD skills lately.

Literally the most artistic (in this case we will say "art" is designed to make you "feel" a certain way) thing I've ever done. I was pondering the build, I had tried to make the cliff precarious in the initial claim build. I started thinking about expanding the camp (or just not) and tried that out. It made me agitated that it would fall over/fall apart and I decided that by making the build precarious, it would maybe help the feel of the cliff.

Great job with the mine Cap, there is a lot to take inspiration from here. I like how tall the cliffs are and the insert cut you have made for the mine. It gives the scene a feeling of depth that I think really enhances the scene. I actually quite like the overhang and the camp at the top is a nice addition. I also love the inclusion of the old rope bridge piece (I really need to work one into one of my builds one of these days!). All up nice work and it's good to see the end result of the prospecting.
