n1majneb Posted February 28, 2021 Posted February 28, 2021 (edited) *Your entry has earned 7 XP* Stood on the frozen beach, with fresh memories of the lurid details we had uncovered here I said farewell to the head of the Garrison Clan Eldar were leaving stationed here. The lights of the ship, warm and inviting, beckoned me aboard and I looked back to say a fond farewell. As the Jump Skimmer pulled away from the surface I reflected on my time here, we'd learnt alot about all the Ice hid here and yet I had a feeling that I'd be drawn back at some point... Spoiler I had wanted to build something that required no support for some time and I really enjoyed the challenge of this build. Whilst keeping it light, I did still want to add an interior which predominantly consists of flight seat and cargo area. It was an exploration into keeping the weight down whilst adding detail where I could: My plan was to build a little shuttle that would work as an in system troop transport and courier vehicle whilst adding a little flair in the design, as seen on the sides and the complimentary colours. The centre consists of SNOT trans blue bricks with the occasionally tooth to serve as ice/snow and a couple of rocks to break up the blue. Quote

n1majneb Posted February 28, 2021 Author Posted February 28, 2021 The Sand Blue pieces all came from the Ninjago movie Manta Ray bomber set - as yet my only source of Sand Blue but I am hoping to get more of this colour now! Quote

Jody Meyer Posted February 28, 2021 Posted February 28, 2021 this is a great creative build, nice balancing act. the beach setting is great, love the ship design. Quote
Ross Fisher Posted February 28, 2021 Posted February 28, 2021 Honestly, this is a really impressive feat of engineering. Getting the whole thing cantilevered against the base must've been a lot of hard work. The shuttle itself is a really fun little build. Reminds me of the Phantom. Quote

Darth Bjorn Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 This is one of your better entries... The ship and the landscape is well done! Quote
