Hello all.  Recently picked up a used 3368 set.  This is one of the sets I have been pinning over for sometime.  Brought it home, built it, set it up for display.  Still like it, but needs a little bit more too it.  Planning on upgrading the command center.  Looked around on the net for some pictures of mocs to get some ideas.  Nothing came up.  Anyone moc or seen a good picture of a moc of this set? Launch platform and the ground level need to be beefed up also.

i have set 3366 also, will combine into one large display.  Have 31066 and  31091 too, not sure how to add  them to the display.  Looking for some ideas.  Thank you for looking at this post.

Perhaps modify the stand in 3368 to be more like 60080 to attach the creator space shuttle to it. You could use the parts in the 3368 rocket to form boosters for the shuttle. The colour scheme would be different but the space shuttle's colour scheme is already different from the prototype so it wouldn't be too bad.

3366 could be used to the side of the layout as another interest point. It is a quite complete set so it doesn't really need any mods.

The shuttle in 31090 would be a good model to be at the gate of your space centre layout, more of a display rather than a practical item. The truck would be difficult to integrate since its out of scale and wouldn't make sense as a display piece like the shuttle.

As for modifying the command centre I'd just close it off neatly at the back and let it stand apart from another building. Or you could attach it to a garage to house the ground vehicle like 3366. Any fire station set would have good parts to do so, especially the most recent one. Regardless I'd join the command centre to the side of a building if you choose to extend, so it keeps the 'bunker' sort of feel.

Ok, this is what I am starting with.  As you can see my shuttles are a bit out of scale.  Thinking will make to displays, one on earth as a launch center (will be by my airport) and the other on the moon.  For the moon, planning on having one of the shuttles discovering an alien space ship.  Have most of the Galaxy Squad sets and even more of Mars mission (excellent bad guy).

For the Launce center, will keep most of what you see below for the display.  Will expand the control center to 2 or 3 levels, open back.  Planning on adding a lab and training center as separt building.  May combine these depending how large the control center gets.

thought about this, but the orginal rocket is what drew me to this set.  Plan on keeping it.

This shuttle is more in scale with the rocket.  The rocket is actually underscaled but will make it work.  Thinking the shuttle will be parked of to the side of the launch platform.

I like to see inside my building so try to keep them open in the back (doll house style).  Thought about building a garage, but feel a training center or lab would be more interesting.  Fire Station sets are a great place for red bricks.
