Celloguy Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 Hey guys! I'm an opera director in normal life, but sadly all live opera has been cancelled for the last year. So I decided to make a stop motion opera out of Lego! The opera is from 1901 based on the fairtytale of The Little Mermaid, which is why I posted it in the historical forum (If LOTR is allowed, surely fairytales!) Quote
Aurore Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 (edited) This is really marvellous! Great work with finding all the appropriate expressions for the Rusalka, and the decor and camera movement are briliant. Professional work, indeed! I hope we'll see more operas of this kind (and, oh, well, real operas and concerts too, hopefully soon...). Edited February 13, 2021 by Aurore Quote
Man with beard Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Beautiful! I like the use of alternate faces for singing. Looks much better than the old days of brickfilming when mouth movements were achieved in MS Paint... I hope this inspires more opera inspired brickfilms and MOCs! Quote
Zarcania Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 Very interesting video! It's living and nice to look at. :-) Quote
