sander1992 Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 Hi everyone, This is my latest MOC: Battle of the old ruins of Lyon's Keep Another war between the Lion Knights and the Black Knights. This is the battle takes place in the ruins of Lyon's Keep. For more pictures please look into my Flickr album. Feedback is appreciated. Quote
Weil Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 Looks great! Nice technique for the tree and I like the small shield wall. Those black knights look like they're in for a tough time. I still need to find a way to get some of those shields at some point. Quote
Wout Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 This looks very nice. The big tree looks good and the little tree made out of seaweed is great. I only wonder why that the archer on the right looks so happy. Quote
zoth33 Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 Nice little scene here. The tree is great. Love the old school figs with the newer shields, looks really good. Quote
sander1992 Posted February 2, 2021 Author Posted February 2, 2021 Thank you all! @Wout Perhaps not the right minifig head to use. I think it's his lucky day. Quote
jtooker Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 I too love the tree. The lightly fortified position of the lion knights certain gives the impression of desperation out of the black knights. I would have liked a more elevated shot of the MOC to see more of the stonework and even a view from the other side (from behind the lion knights). Quote
sander1992 Posted February 28, 2021 Author Posted February 28, 2021 @jtooker, sorry for the late response. I was a bit busy the last few weeks. The are a few pictures I want to share with you. It was a bit difficult too get the zoom right. The other picture failed because of the tree. Quote
Frike Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 I really like how you created a convincing shield wall with a relatively small amount of figures. I have been planning to make something similar and might resort to borrowing your idea with an old ruin. It creates a nice and narrow passage when surrounded by beautiful trees! Quote
