Powering multiple trains with 9v

 I come to you guys with a pretty basic question how could I power multiple trains with 9 volt. I started building a Layout with some old tracks and want to expand it with some more trains. Any idea how it is possible. I know I am like 30 years to late for this, but it would help me much if anyone knows the answer. ?

You could segment your layout into blocks.  Each block is electrically isolated and controlled by one 9V speed regulator.

That's the best way to do it. An unmodified 9V train regulator won't like powering more than 2 train motors.
