AgentRick Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 (edited) With exams out of the way, I can finally get back to building MOCs! To start off, I made a museum. It has a mix of classic 80's structure, but with details in newer sets. The dinosaur was based off of the one in the Mr. Magoreum set Lets all go to the lobby, lets all go to the lobby... Looks like next week's exhibit is on the human body... ...Or maybe it's you! Purchase tickets at the counter I really like these stairs. Part of the floor removed to see it better Today we have an undersea exhibit to show "Sorry, no flash photography" Cruel law enforcement at work. "These three rubies are thought to have given pirates the disease known as scurvy." OOH! A rusty old chain! What some people don't know is that there's a rule called "Do not touch". That's it young lady, no dessert for a week! Suggestions are welcome at any time. Edited June 5, 2008 by AgentRick57 Quote
L'Exocet Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Wow, that's fantastic, 57! I've been planning a museum of natural sciences for my town too, and your work is just inspiring. If you want to improve it, you could make it bigger It so great that libraries, museums and schools are turning up here in EB nowadays. In fact, IMO that is exactly the direction to which TLC should develop the City - schools, museums etc. They have so much stuff that would easily make great exhibitions in history, wildlife, space or what ever. But considering the failure of science based sets, that's hardly likely to happen, so I guess it's back to mocing board again. Quote
Eilif Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Nice job, I like the underwater gear exhibit. As for suggestions for improvement, I would add a roof, or some roof level detail. Also I'm not sure if you're going for uniformly grey walls, or mixed grey walls, so I would make the walls either more uniform in shade, or more variety in shades of grey. Quote
Asuka Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 Very nice, museums´re always very fascinating places, it´s great to see some MOCs with this thematic. That poor scared little girl´s pretty funny too! Quote
