MagPiesRUs Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Here is the long not-so-awaited second part of my Historical Minifigures. This time, using pieces from the Indy KotCS sets, we see dictators, adventurers and most of all, Russians. Here it is... Lenin: Trotsky: Rasputin: Stalin: A cartoony looking Mussolini: Castro, complete with cigar : Gorbachev: Putin: Marco Polo: Giovanni Belzoni: And Finally, in the spirit of Indy Month, Roy Chapman Andrews... Enjoy, feedback appreciated Quote
Shadows Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Despite all the decals I draw, I really love a purist solution to minifigs more than any other, and these are all quite nice, even if I did have to look up Giovanni Belzoni. Nice job! Quote

Nice job! Thanks. Yes, I agree. Decals are nice, but it's always great to see what you can do with existing torsos. It's good to know that these minifigs are educational too. Nice!!! Stony Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 I like how Lenin, Stalin, and Castro came out. Nice use of the Indy torch as a cigar too. But you forgot Leo Tolstoy! Quote
JimBee Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 great work, although i dont know half of these famous people in history. nice use of a tire for a russian hat! Quote
Stony Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 great work, although i dont know half of these famous people in history. nice use of a tire for a russian hat! The tire hat would be Italian because Mussolini was an Italian dictator who sided with Hitler. NOT a Russian. Most of those "Russians" would actually be Soviets too. Sorry if you find me rude. Quote
