valon Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 i recently went to a website callled bricklink studio, it had a option on some of the mocs that said easy buy and one that said download file. what do these do ? Quote
MAB Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 You can download the build steps and buy the parts through bricklink . Quote
deraven Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Bricklink started out as a 3rd-party Lego parts sale and purchasing platform. Later, their Studio program became one of the more popular Lego CAD applications. What you're seeing, as MAB said, is the option to download the Studio file that you can open, manipulate, or build from, as well as quickly filling your cart with the necessary Lego pieces to purchase from Bricklink sellers if you'd like. Zarcania Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 I am starting Lego and I red somewhere that Bricklink is the cheapest on the market, is this correct? On all the different sectors? Quote

On all the different sectors? It is incorrect as bricklink is not a store, it is 1000s of stores. Some bricklink sellers might be the cheapest for some parts, although other sellers will probably be the most expensive. One store can be good for some parts but expensive for others. It is also worth checking lego's own services for new parts especially, as they might be cheaper than bricklink sellers. Quote
