julencin2000 Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Well, I do not own 10027, so I thought: "Why not?". I opened my 4954 and here is what came out: Of course it has design flaws (i.e. those weird columns), both rails can't connect because the 1x2 tiles row in the corners, no hinges, not enough roof tiles... but it was a "limited pieces version 1.0". We'll see 1.1 after exams season -_-' Waiting for your comments ^_^ Gallery: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=321905 Quote
Hinckley Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 You opened the box and that just fell out? Wow! That's awesome. Lucky you. That's an excellent version of the official set. Very innovative. Nice job. Quote
legotrainfan Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 If I had set 4954, I would never ever have had the idea to use the pieces of it for a train engine shed. I'm not as creative as you. The result of your experiment is amazing! Really great job! Quote
Eilif Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Well done. It's inspiring to see what great results you achieved with a limited selection of pieces. Quote
Asuka Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 It really looks good and well fitting for a train shed, nice! Quote
alex54 Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Wow! This is the power of LEGO and imagination! julencin2000, you have used the 4954 set in a very good way! Do the rails come from your box too? If yes, you're really lucky! Quote
Holodoc Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Brilliant work! I love it when a set is used for a completely different building. Way to go, julencin! Quote
MatthewUSA Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Very cool looking MOC julencin . I definitly like the look of the building. Way to go!! Model On!! Quote

medib Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Wow! This was a great alternative. As was said, "nice Imagination" I can't wait to see the 1.1 version, even though the version 1.0 is pretty nice by itself. Just thought I'd post my positive comments. Cheers, Benjamin Medinets Quote
