L'Exocet Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 675 Snack bar for me, absolutely - it just happens to be the very first LEGO set I ever got! I also had the Hamburger Stand, which is quite nice, so it's number two, and third would be Pizza To Go, still light years ahead of the rest of the bunch. Quote
Ralph_S Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 My favorite has to be 6683, Hamburger stand, with Pizza to go a close second. It's a small set, but with lovely features and it was major inspiration for my own chip shop. When it comes to actual take-away food I'm more in favour of Chinese. Cheers, Ralph Quote
Shadows Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 Freddie was kind enough to supply links to the required images, so I am currently recreating the decals to the Hamburger Stand, as well as some strays from the same sheets (they were in classic Idea Books). At this point, the hamburger itself is done for anyone who wants to restore their set or start a new one. Click for full size. (1.551cm x 1.089cm) When it comes to actual take-away food I'm more in favour of Chinese. Then you'd want to visit... Wong's in Chinatown Quote
diablorouge Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 For me it is the Pizzeria. It is one of my all time favourite Lego sets. At present it is the only food outlet in my Lego town so heres hoping that TLG release a restaurant or something simalar next year as it has been quite a while since a food outlet was released. Quote
Minifig Lecturer Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 Would you eat a burger that looked like that? Quote
Ralph_S Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 Would you eat a burger that looked like that? To me that doesn't look too different from what they sell at Mucky Ds, actually . Would you eat a pizza that looks like this? Cheers, Ralph Quote
