How to reattach a nozzle to its hose

Hi,

I have an older Shell themed Lego set from the 1980s. Specifically set 6610. One of the nozzles came loose from its hoze (a piece of string). Does anyone know how these can be reattached?

I would use a very small drop of super glue.

Be very careful with superglue and string. Anything like textiles and string will suck up the glue, and then go hard. As JopieK says only use a tiny amount, otherwise you'll stick it just fine but you will end up with rigid string.

Super glue also come in a thick version that won't run.
