juno2023 Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 Lego Games has a new podcast covering the history of Lego in the digital space. More info here: https://www.lego.com/en-us/legogames-25 Anyone give it a listen yet? Sounds like it'll be pretty thorough- excited for the first full episode! Quote
megadrive2 Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 I've found the first couple of episodes a little disappointing tbh. Hopefully they start to cover the Actual video games in later episodes, the first episode on Minecraft was quire negative and was concentrated on a product that never saw the light of day, the second episode was also mostly on interactive LEGO sets and apps rather than the proper videos games. Judging by how few people are talking about this series I can't be the only one feeling underwhelmed so far. Quote
juno2023 Posted December 19, 2020 Author Posted December 19, 2020 I was surprised by the Minecraft episode with the level of detail available- but it also lines up with some other things I've read about TLG in the digital space (at least a few years before that point). The second episode felt more like an introduction to a lot of ideas about fluid play than a deep dive, but I still found it interesting. Quote
juno2023 Posted February 15, 2021 Author Posted February 15, 2021 The latest episode covered the latest Sonic Mania Ideas set and had a fantastic interview with Samuel Johnson on the Ideas program. Strongly recommend, even for those not as interested in the Games side of the house! Quote
