Brickwolf Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 The diorama depicts a quay in the Corrington seaside town of Arlinsport on quiet summer morning. Everyday a small train runs between the town´s station and the small port, streetrunning on the quay. After leaving the tunnel under the old fortress the train passes the Red Lobster Inn, a fischerman´s cottage and a boatbuilder shop. The old steam loco was recently replaced with a small green diesel. Quote
Pdaitabird Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 Nice diorama! I like the design of the freight cars and the little details like the wastewater coming out of the drainage. That's a lovely little diesel too - it seems Oleon and Eslandola have some technological catching up to do! Quote

I only added the British throwing lever brake. The other one is a Lowlug gondola. 1 hour ago, JintaiZ said: Nice build! Thank you! Edited November 7, 2020 by Brickwolf Quote
ColletArrow Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 A fantastic little scene, it works well as a backdrop to the short freight train. The loco feels very Ruston-48DS to me - was there any specific inspiration behind it? Quote
Feuer Zug Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 Cute locomotive and good work on the small scale diorama. It fits for a small port local job. The way you made the figure sitting on the pier is genius too. Quote

I started to build the Planet but decided on a round bonnet during building. So the green critter is mix of both. 3 hours ago, Feuer Zug said: Cute locomotive and good work on the small scale diorama. It fits for a small port local job. Paperinik77pk Posted November 10, 2020 Posted November 10, 2020 Great diorama! Bulidings and little train are very nice and give a good sensation of a peaceful life. I'd like to think that that brown water is a sewer output...and the fact the man is fishing near it made me laugh a lot! Quote
