JaCor653 Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 I started this build just planning on building the set following the instructions exactly. I wanted to build it in LDD so that I could upload the file to BrickLink and order the pieces. That is most likely less expensive than buying the official set from eBay or BrickLink. Anyway, once I got going with the build, I noticed there were some small issues with the official build. Once I got the set finished, I went to work fixing some things here and there. The first thing I did was I added some more and different colors to the greebling in the forward blade section. The original set has a lot of light and dark gray, with some hints of dark tan, but not many other colors. I added the tan and light green pods just by changing a few colors. I also added some pieces to the front and back sides of the engine block to fill in some holes and add some more details. The few pieces at the base of the stand are pieces that won't connect to the rest of the model. This is because of collision errors with some of the parts as well as the non-existence of a couple of new pieces in LDD. Here is the link to the MOC on Rebrickable where you can download the .lxf for free. Quote
Edited November 10, 2020 by Sebosaure faute d'écriture Quote
