Fluwoeb Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 (edited) This was an interesting project from a couple years ago; I had a good amount of red 2x3 slope bricks, so I thought I would use them for something bigger. Here it is: The model is extremely slow and was my first try at the idea. I used two Power Functions XL motors for drive and placed them right underneath the battery pack; they were connected to worm gears which then transferred to 24-tooth gears. I used the Lego 62.4x40 wheels for propulsion and did not put a caster wheel or anything else underneath to support. I could not use the slider pieces for underneath the model so I used tape to hold onto the slope bricks at the very front of the model. I used this mainly to fight with my older brother's EV3 bot that he made. His battle bot had six of the Lego 30.4x20 wheels connected with gears and driven by the two EV3 motors in a tank-like drive train. His of course was faster and had problems with the 8-tooth gears connecting the drivetrain to all 6 wheels, but mine was strong enough to hold him off. He kept trying to get at my sides and tip me over, but I could spin to fast for him:) Next time I will use a caster wheel... These are all of the pictures I have for this model, enjoy:) Edited November 4, 2020 by Evan-Eleven the Engineer To relink the photos and add 2 new photos Quote

I will relink the photos; I had changed the BrickSafe folder they were in and that might have made them disappear, although I can still see them on this page. 12 hours ago, JintaiZ said: Nice build!
