n1majneb Posted November 1, 2020 Posted November 1, 2020 (edited) *Your entry has earned 4 XP (x2 for limited challenge)* Deep underground I went slowly getting deeper and deeper, Eventually Rock and Ice gave way to a mix of Permacrete, metalwork and pipes and i'd discovered the lower levels of the facility. The Lurrians, looking to me like taller Ewoks, were busying themselves with lab equipment - looking at displays and things behind iced screens I couldn't make out. To take a closer look I headed into the ventilation system, warm and wide enough for me to nimbly make my way through to a vantage point. To my horror I discovered row upon row of transparisteel tubes with Lurrians in varying stages of development but I was distracted, the only security was around one door far from me. I crawled through for a better vantage point The weren't just playing God to their own species - they were experimenting with other species! I no longer recognised the subject I was staring into the face of! I could no longer stay hidden, I could let this horror go no further...
