This morning, the doctor Thaum gave the letters of property of the last ship direct out of Tortuga shipyard to Col. sir Dirk Allcock with his compliments for the sandcastle contest.

The ship is ready to sail fueled with goods, foods and water.

May the winds be favorable.

@Ayrlego : you just have to licence and choose some nice characteristics for your new class 2 ship

C&C welcome

It looks like a pleasure vessel for Colonel Sir Dirk Allcock. Now we know what he likes to do in his spare time. Well built ship, in the matching color to the uniform.

As I said in our PM, she's a really beautiful vessel Professor, very sleek and fast looking. Those sails are beautiful and I think really add a lot to the build. The little cabin is a nice addition and I like the lanterns on the stern. I really am very privileged to be her new owner!

I'll license her as the Abigail (all of Allcock's ships will start with 'A') and prepare her for her maiden voyage - hopefully those pesky black-flaggers won't take her!

Excellent little Schooner @Professor Thaum! I really love the ropework you did, and seeing paper sails turn out so well gives me hope for my ships! :pir-laugh: You really put the work in for this one, so nice prize, and congratulations to Ayrlego!

Nice sloop, Professor - as others have said, an excellent prize! (For the contest, I mean, not for the taking... :pir-laugh:)

The multiple jibs makes her look fast and the custom sailes work well. I think I will suggest two things, nonetheless, as it seems altogether very bright and white, with little to break it up. One is the punched holes - they just seem a bit excessive. Another is the whiteness of the sails. You already have some nice reeflines in the main, but consider something like the lines bodi has on this recent sloop. IT gives a little more depth to the look of the sails. I typically just use pencil lines, but still, it gives the impression of strips of canvas being sewn together.

Overal, very nice ship, and I really like the effect you have achieved with the railings. Well done!
