In Breshaun this week, the Beauchamp family held a formal ceremony to name and launch a new merchantman, the sloop "Draco."

Draco1

Though the dragon bow piece is an old heathen naval tradition to scare away "evil spirits" the Admiral's family displays their piety with the Trident of Poseidon fixed on either side of the beast.

Draco8

Rigged for speed, built of timbers raised within the Empire, and with a design that reflects the expertise of Oleon craftsmanship, the sloop is a fitting addition to this noble family's assets. The old Admiral was in attendance, along with his daughter-in-law and grandchildren. Son Edward was remembered in the Admiral's comments, fighting for the honor of the Empire and the Beauchamp family in Terraversa.

Draco6

Unarmed, the ship relies on speed and maneuverability to safely shuttle goods across the Brick Seas.

Draco3

A large cargo hold, maxes the shipping potential of the Beauchamp's latest investment.

Draco2

Francois Gallieni, long time member of the Beauchamp household, having served alongside the Admiral under the fire of enemy guns in many a battle, has been named the good ship's Captain.

Lovely ship with a great presentation (I bet you didn't build the harbor just for this ship, but it's still a lovely way to present your vessel). As for the ship, the colors are very appropriate for Oleon, and the 4th picture from the bowsprit really captures the shape of a sailing ship. As for a criticism, I am not a fan of the brown plate overhanging the edge of the vessel. It almost looks like a wing of sort, and the aerial view makes it seem out of place. Still, it's a great boat that captures the Lego classic pirate style.

A lovely little boat, the colour combination is very Oleon-ish, and she got a classic pirate look. Nice harbour scene too.

That's a nice ship you've got, and the harbour looks amazing too. It's a got a good 'classic pirates' look going, and I like what you did with the railings and the deck.
