After the recent pirate attack on Stormhaven, Colonel Sir Dirk Allcock has been temporary transferred to the Sea of Thieves by Brigadier Howe to oversee the build up of Corlander defences in the region.

To begin with, he plans to tour all the Corlander settlements in the region and make an assessment of their defences. His first stop is one he used to be quite familiar with; Mooreton Bay. During his inspection, he takes time to observe a newly arrived company of line infantry conducting live fire drills just outside the settlement.

Standard Corrie doctrine has the infantry form a line two ranks deep, with the front rank kneeling to allow the rear rank a clear line of fire. Behind the line, Sergeants armed with spontoons keep order while Officers direct fire and order manoeuvres. Bayonets can be fixed to create an impenetrable line of sharpened steel. Colonel Allcock is pleased with these troops. They are well trained and disciplined and are adjusting well to life in the colonies.

A troop raising build for Mooreton Bay.

Wonderful build, good to see some troop raising going on, the new rules seem very good. I especially like the posing with the kneeling fig.

Excellent build and good to see Allcock return to the more civilised colonies!

I think a two handed hold on the muskets for the rear rank might look better, although the muskets will come out rather short. You could also simulate ramrods by giving the front rank a lego bar or similar in their off-hand. Nonetheless, an excellent troop build!

Neat build, and excellent figure posing and choice. Glad to see you shying away from those clone pirate torsos! :pir-tongue:

@Count Vroskri please try to edit out the pictures in quoted posts, it's quite space consuming when the photos get left in. It's pretty easy to do. :pir-wink:
