[MOC] A Flanking Maneuver

As reported by an eyewitness, the bluecoats in the beach bulwark were unhurriedly taking potshots at the redcoat frigate that was slightly out of range. They simply didn’t have time to react when the redcoat lieutenant and marines rushed in from down the beach. When all was said and done, the redcoats made sure to knock over the bluecoats' stack of cannon balls.

Thanks! All of my normal tan plates and normal white bricks are set aside for a big Imperial Fort I'm making, so it was fun to use the remaining dark tan / yellow plates for something

Especially the fire&smoke effect is really nice to look at!

(I would make the flame orange all the way to the white cloud though)

Thanks! I was trying something new with this cannon flame - I gave it a red tail! You can see up close there is a trans red rod in a clear round brick coming out of the smoke

That already looks pretty good, but if you want it more accurate, the flame should be not red. I would use the red bar and put some of these onto it:

 

But for a more cinematic effect your choice makes it more WOW
