Fenghuang0296 Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 I like this, but, uh . . you know that it’s ‘Sewage’ not ‘Sewerage’, right? Quote
deraven Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Very cool! That's an interesting concept to do it this way, and your build is nice. I think the only thing missing would be how the basement connects up into the modular above it or complements a particular building rather than essentially being a glorified stand. That being said, it would be a lot of fun to modify modulars to include things like pneumatic transfer tubes that run through these underground modules, etc.. 5 hours ago, Fenghuang0296 said: you know that it’s ‘Sewage’ not ‘Sewerage’, right? No, "sewerage" is the correct word referring to the sewer infrastructure whereas sewage is the gunk that flows through a sewer. Quote

CopperTablet Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 You have touched upon one of the issues with Lego buildings: they don't really do underground architecture well. The baseplates are one reason why: display is another. Why build something no one will see? Your design has no back (or no side, depending on how you look at it) for viewing of the underground areas. This makes sense from a display perspective and the texture of the dirt is quite creative. Quote

I would say if the new road plate leaks are true, it would definitely give an opportunity for more underground systems. Quote
