Hey Everyone,

Let me show you my trial at making a historic castle. I named it as White Crow Castle, because it is one of a kind. :) Also because it has a white crow at the gate.

The build was made for rather as a showpiece as a full modular, openable featured playable etc.. set. I was aiming for something that is fun to put together, has some playability, but at the end looks good in a bigger setup, or on it's own.

It was made using 2727 bricks, all existing one (according to bricklink) and can and will be built in real life. (The light bricks can be replaced with trans-orange) I learned mechanical engineering, so I made sure it is statically stable, even it is designed digitally.

I was aiming for an older worn-out look. That's why one of the outpost is angled, and used so many different bricks for the walls.

It was made for Lego Ideas originally. However I am very happy to get any feedback, suggestions, and of course your support if you see it worthy. I know there are other castle in review and gathering support, however the more we get to 10K, the better chance we have another one released by Lego.

Thank you!

Here is the Ideas link:

If you can share, show others or any way support, I will be thankful!

That White crow looks awesome! The way it's holding the axe right above anyone entering, has a great effect! :D

Thank you! TBH I had hard time to figure out what animal to put there. Dragon seemed to be a good idea, but hard to implement. The crow I thought it's good because seems similar to the falcon on the shields. Of course from there I just needed to figure out the parts that exist in white to form the crow. I am glad all that effort made sense and the result is good, specially with the axe. :)

Dragons also tend to look very cliché, this is totally original! And you are right, the falcon could easily be a crow. Great work :D

The drawbridge and the round tower look really good. You have plenty of good design features in it. Im not a fan of the color scheme though, its not bad but has a more steampunk vibe vs castle vibe.

Thank you for the compliment! :) I didn't think about it, but now that you are writing it... yes there is some steampunk feeling to it. However it was intended to be look as old and used, rather than steampunk. :)
