NOD Posted August 23, 2020 Posted August 23, 2020 (edited) Artisan: Bakery Lorella DSC07518 by Philippe, auf Flickr Here you can get the most delicious croissant and bread on the sunny palm beach of Tortuga. Only the best and finest products are used for the production. It is baked in a noble stone oven that was imported from Venezzi. DSC07523 by Philippe, auf Flickr Don't miss this, come over today. The bakers Lorella and Antonio look forward to your visit. DSC07531 by Philippe, auf Flickr Sandcastle Contest Cat A: Beach Bakery DSC07532 by Philippe, auf Flickr Lorella and Antonio also heard about the sandcastle contest. They discuss the procedure with their relatives. Lorella: I want a sandcastle like it in Venezzi styles. It should have water channels and many bridges. Pretty little gondolas are supposed to float on the water. In addition, many beautiful little flowers should be planted. Antonio's head turns red like a tomato: No certainly not! I want a war castle. It's supposed to be dark and terrifying. Lorella yells at him angrily in the Eslandolan language: imbecille, cretino, asino (idiot, stupid, donkey) Antonio is shocked and becomes as small as a sausage. Edited August 23, 2020 by NOD Quote
Count Vroskri Posted August 23, 2020 Posted August 23, 2020 Another great sandcastle challenge, I like the idea of a beach bakery. Looking forward to seeing your actual castle! Count Vroski Quote
Khorne Posted August 23, 2020 Posted August 23, 2020 Simple, but neat bakery. It does the job well. It really fits the tropical style of the sand castle contest. Like Vroski said: I can't wait to see your (maybe) Venice-inspired sand castle. A small note on the background story: BoBS is not completely a 1:1 adaption of the real world. "Italian" isn't really a thing. I'd change to that "Eslandolan", perhaps, because that faction is mostly Southern Europe inspired. Likewise, "Venice" is maybe too on the nose? You could change it to Venezzi, for example. That way people will still make the mental connection, but the actual name is not just a copy of the real thing. Just my 2 cents . Quote

I didn't think about the names of countries and cities beforehand. I've changed it in the meantime. I can't take part in category B, because I don't have any building blocks in the right color. I would have to order this abroad. At best, it takes 7-14 days until I get it. That's why I don't stress and renounce. At least I was able to participate in category A.
