Hello all. These are my attempt at some basic searchlight signals. They are relatively low in parts, with the single searchlight tower being 35 parts in total. The signal head is a 3x3 inverted dish with a 1x1 claw with a vertical tooth. These aren't based on an particular model of searchlights, but I figured I'd give them a shot, seeing as they really aren't a signal I see modeled.

Really a great design, including the switchbox etc.

btw
shouldn't it be called a semaphore?
searchlight is something with aitplanes and air defence etc.

Very nice work! Any trackside details are always a bonus, and I do like the tooth part for the signal hood even if it's not that noticeable from some angles. The equipment cabinet is another often-overlooked yet important feature of real-life railways.

Semaphores are signals with mechanical moving arms. In British I'd call this type a Colour-Light signal, but I think searchlight works too.

I so wish there was a part that could capture the hood over the light.

~snip~

There's the cloth that @supertruper1988 has available at BTD, which I honestly think would work better than the claw tooth, as it can get the proper curve. Or the horizontal tooth that I used. It was hard to see in the renders.

Aha thanks...never too old to learn.

What countries is/was this type used?
