Perhaps my most ambitious build to date, this MOC features 5x7 and 5x5 functional compartments, swinging tool boards, and a completely redesigned interior! Brickadia Fire Rescue has placed this 2020 Pierce Enforcer tandem-axle rescue in service as US&R 36! This is the department’s first ever urban search and rescue apparatus and will greatly enhance their technical rescue capabilities. Since US&R 36 is only staffed by an engineer and a captain (with additional personnel from other companies), the committee decided to install a command center in lieu of where the crew would usually sit. Due to several freeways and major roads, this apparatus was designed to respond to most, if not all, motor vehicle accidents with trapped parties. As part of CA-RTF4, Brickadia can supply a rescue team and equipment that specializes in collapse, high angle, low angle, and trench rescues. Quote
