In the courtyard of a gun foundry, foundrymen were busying with the loading of a siege mortar on an ox cart, while an artillery officer was going to sign the factory documents.

A mortar, what a nice idea, and a cool build. The portico is awesome

Thanks Thaum.

Nice mortar! It's nice to see that our artillery is getting heavier and heavier... just for academic purposes, obviously!

Now we have to find an objective to test its efficiency.:cannon:

Nice mortal and pulley system.

Thank you, it's a simplistic representation of a gantry, I'm not sure if it's the correct term, a portal crane maybe?

Nice one Bodi! One or two more pics would make it easier for us to borrow (insert to steal) the design.

And what about adding it to the Gran military encyclopedia of Oleon under a new chapter called Artillery/Siege engines/whatever?

wooof ! That's a heavy mortar ! :pir-oh:

Great way to show it being pulleyed into the transport chariot !

I am not sure Oleon is aware of what is said about the old proverb : "size no matters..." :pir-grin:
