Pembroke Panda Posted July 15, 2020 Posted July 15, 2020 it has definitely been an interesting day with lots of talk about the trickster and framers and not a whole lot of substance, but a few glaring mistakes were made. A few animals have really caught my eye though with things they've said not adding up at all, looking too informed, and strangely defending or being defended by others. Hendrick Horse made some very scummy statements at the start, wanting to be targeted by both framers but not investigated. This hit a lot of people as a very strange thing to insist on, but somehow he wriggled away from accusations based on that. He is very insistent on the two framers targeting him and that i has to be both, that makes no sense at all to care about. If he is town and the framer is town then it really doesn't matter because the truth will be known no matter what. Insisting it has to be both and that no investigation is used makes it all extremely fishy. Lyev Lion seemed to be defending the horse a couple times and I was very suspicious of that, mostly because of my suspicions of the horse. I went back and it looks though like the two had some disagreements and miscommunication. However, the lion saying maybe the scum have a watcher is really strange considering we were already told what actions the scum have in Omorom's post. Why trying to sow fear to get what you want by suggesting they have a role they do not? This is a strange tactic and not very town-friendly at all. Then the horse goes on to both agree and disagree with that logic He also appeared to know exactly how the framer one-shot would work even though he claims to have not been given one. Priella Pig, this is just someone I suspected as of the past few hours and again related to the Horse. The horse seems to be really hot for a lynch and really worried that there won't be a lynch. Willing to move his vote even! However, when stating who he's willing to move it to, it wasn't the animal with the most votes already (Pig) it was an animal that had two votes. Pretty much all the votes have been rubbish and nobody seems to care to put real reasoning behind anything, so this whole vote move suggestion looks very much like trying to get folks to unvote the pig. She soft defended Lyev's knowlege of the framer role - why do that for somebody you don't know could be town or scum though? So, there's my day 1 analysis of who I believe is the scum team. I'm actually, obviously, most fixated on the horse but the past few hours have opened my eyes to the pig and I'm pretty certain of those two now. A lot of soft defending going on and a lot of miraculous forgiveness for scummy behavior. Unfortunately I don't see a lynch possible on Hendrick today, so let's go with the other most likely suspect. OK 1st I explained that thoroughly? In what way does "coordinate both of the anti-town actions we could know about to target the same person" not make sense. Also you'll note that I was never insistent about it being me who gets targetted. I only volunteered after being prompted to by Mr. Lion. Also the investigator thing was 2-fold. A. I don't know how the frames would overlap and B. PUBLICLY COORDINATING INVESTIGATIONS IS BAD. OK what? I literally guessed wrong about how the frame worked. I'm hot to lynch because 1. I'm hot. I'm a mothatrotting stallion, baby! And 2. We gain nothing from a lymchless day 1, and I'd rather us lynch one of the 2 voting candidates I consider most likely to be scum.

Looking around there's really not much at all to most people's reasoning for lynch candidates, not that there could be, except one person has stood out a little bit more than everyone else. Vote: Wyeth Walrus I think this is the best case we have right now. Wyeth made a big case against Hendrick and seemed to really think he'd caught a scum out by accusing him. Hendrick said he actually thought that Wyeth was the scum, and that he appeared to have a scum perspective (which, looking back, is actually a reasonable accusation I feel) and indicated he was really seriously considering voting for Wyeth, but didn't actually vote for him. The first proper vote for anyone was actually by Priella, and I think it would have to be quite a brave scum to vote first with crap reasons. Priella might be brave, but against Wyeth she gets the benefit of the doubt, especially as Wyeth, having made such a case against Hendrick, then actually votes for Evern. For being late. My earlier concerns still remain; I think we are going to have a difficult time planning ahead as the loyalists can manipulate us during the day, so it would be better to try and catch them out in a lie tomorrow when results are revealed. Trying to coordinate the investigations would be a waste of time. We can also assume our second framer isn't planning on revealing their result, so we already have that to grapple with. Glad you got a chance to extract yourself from that bad dragon to vote! I suppose it very well could, and we shall see. I was more inclined to lean into your lynch personally because I agree with some of the points made regarding your ambivalence earlier and because I felt it would be a better litmus test, but with Purella lynched we'll still have plenty to analyze. I'm still fairly certain in my hunch regarding Wyeth's scummy thought process though. Again. We'll see. That said just because I think u might be scummy doesn't mean we can't be friendly!
