NOTE: I went nuts on this one. What began as a riff on the Classic Space set, 6841 “Mineral Detector,” turned into a gargantuan project. Enjoy!

This gargantuan T.R.U.C. was one of the largest land vehicles ever deployed by the CCS, and its grinding Yaxxline engines heralded its arrival hours before it entered visual range. The elevated pilot command module in the forward position enabled the guiding hand to see above the T.R.U.C.’s two massive articulated sensor discs, while the rotating central control column (often referred to as “the mushroom”) allowed at least two, sometimes three, operators to scan huge tracts of land and communicate over vast distances. The force field walkway stored under the massive chassis allowed for the coming and going of personnel via a back hatch, and there were storage compartments for toolboxes, handheld scopeguns, and a wide array of other tools and equipment. While on board, four passengers and the pilot could stow their airtanks temporarily during transit. It was known colloquially as the “GBOGH,” which stood for “Go Big Or Go Home.”

Nice CS feel to it, and a nice homage to the Mineral Detector.  I like the multiple levels and ability to carry passengers or cargo in the lower middle section.  And nice to see the orange spaceman starting to make appearances!
