Dear all, I hope it's okay to post my question here, I'm new to the forum and not sure about how to contact members directly, so I decided to ask here: I'm a German LEGO fan currently building a rebrick-version of the SSD 10221. I found this site when I was looking online for methods on tilting the model slightly for display and instead found out that some members here have created ways of modelling the underside of the model. I'd be very, very interested in doing so too, so I wanted to kindly ask it someone could send me the ldd-file for the undeside by GeOrc as posted by the moderator Brickdoctor. Again, I apologize for not contacting the members directly, I simply cannot find a way here on the page. And sorry for my weired English, I'm German and struggeling a little with the language. I would be most grateful if anyone could help me! Thanks so much in advance! Regads, Paul

Welcome to EB, PaulySmart!  You're doing fine with the language.  :classic:

I did a quick search and it looks like there are a few different versions of the bottom hull in LDD in this thread:

Probably the last one posted is pretty close to the version you're looking for.  Happy building!

Dear deraven, thank you so much for replying and for your help, that is very kind! Unfortunately, the links for the three lfx-files in the thread contain empty files of only 22kb. Am I doing something wrong maybe? Judging from the pictures in the thread it would be exactly what I am looking for, but somehow the files seem to be missing. Is there anything I can do to get the working files please? Thanks in advacne and kind regards, Paul

Oh, sorry!  I see now looking up the thread a little bit that even a year or two ago people were saying the file downloads were broken.  :sceptic:  Maybe google for the lxf file name and see if it pops up from another source?

Yes, I already tried that, no luck unfortunately. And the problem is I cannot pm Members here directly to ask, is there some restriction for newcomers? It is really a fantastic mod and I would love to build it, hopefully someone here has the files stored somewhere. You are so kind to help and answer me! :)

If I remember correctly you need to have a certain number of posts before being able to PM other users. I kinda remember it should be 10 posts, but I could be wrong, so I'll advise you to check a bit more of the forum, participate in some threads and try again =) although I repeat I am not 100% sure on the number 1o.

Correct.  That info and more new member info here that you might want to take a quick look at for any similar questions:

I would agree - just participate in some more conversation and enjoy the board, and soon enough you'll be able to PM those folks and see if they still have the files floating around somewhere.  :classic:
