After spending the better part of the season up north in Mitgardia, Rhalyf heads south looking forward to warmer Kaliphlinian temperatures. The beauty of the frozen lake and snow covered trees unnoticed as the cold wind whirls past.

Nice build.  I like the trees.  The snowscape looks very natural.  The water matches the feel of the build.  I like the inclusion of the owl.

Very beautiful!  I really like the frozen lake in the first picture because of the glare off the ice.  The big evergreen is great, and I like the scraggly trees.  If I were to offer suggestions, I would try to avoid the square corners of the snow plates in the path and in the green patches.  It seems kind of minecrafty.  I know it's difficult to get the right wedges, but you can sometimes cover these corners up with wedges on top if you layer them.  Unless it's nighttime, I would not use a black background either.  I know there's use in contrast against the white leaves, but it makes the build seem much smaller and closed in.  White would be useful, but in this case, grey may be better.  Great work, though, and I love seeing your builds!

Thank you!  I like how the water/ice turned out.  Sand blue under the trans-clear is a nice color for this environment.

Good build, I really like how smooth the water is integrated in the model and the path actually looks like it is almost dissapearing because of the snow.

Thank you!

I am very happy how the glare off the ice turned out - it is my favorite part of the MOC.

I appreciate the detailed feedback.  I'll be sure to use more wedges to overlay on top of my paths to help the environment/path transition look more natural.  I saw the sand-green and dark-green on snow used in someone else's MOC and wanted to play with it here.  I'm not too happy with the shape of it but do like the contrast. Perhaps wedges here too would have been enough.

I think gray would have been a better choice for the background.  I considered white, but thought the lack of contrast would make the MOC hard to see.

Looking over your UoP credit applications and I realized I never even commented on this in the first place!  Quite an oversight.  +1 for the credit and really nice job on this build, especially the frozen lake, of course!
