They came without warning; their initial attack on the First Outpost was as devastating as it was surprising. With their swift and fearsome Starburst Gunships, capable of flying and firing in two directions, the creatures known only as the Darkscourge made their evil presence known in the early days of the CCS galactic expansion. Although it lasted for years, the Darkscourge War ended as suddenly as it began; the final battle between the marauders and CCS forces came to a bizarre conclusion when the entire Darkscourge fleet inexplicably vanished in mid-conflict, leaving no trace behind. To this day, their involvement in the Undead Incursion is a mystery, as is their possible connection to the abandoned S.C.O.R.P.I.O.N. [see other MOC] that inspired the familiar repair robots, but may have also been a scout sent to survey the First Outpost before that infamous initial assault. Years after they disappeared, some still wonder…will the Darkscourge ever return?
