I received an order recently Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon : Model 75257

The package was opened and on inspection it appears bag #5 is missing.

There are also 3 extra bags ( #1 #2 #5 ) but they have a different "pattern" of numbering on the bags - maybe from an older set??

The store ( after taking 5 weeks to deliver ) are only offering a refund and given their already less than stellar service , Id like to avoid them as much as possible, other than a last resort.

I want to know if its possible that the "missing " bag's parts are a) either in the extra bags or b) obtainable easily from elsewhere?

Is there any way top know?

Thanks in advance

I built my 75257 Falcon last week, from what I remember the bags look correct! There are a lot of tan and dark tan pieces for the interior, there were definitely two bags with the black/white numbers that look different (one of them could have been ‘5’). There were two of a couple numbers as you’ve got, I guess this is because there are too many pieces to squeeze them all in one bag, it’s common in bigger sets.

I think you have all the right stuff and would suggest keeping hold of the picture and building it!

If you have any missing or incorrect pieces you can always contact Lego directly, they are able to provide whole spare bags of parts if necessary. One other way to check would be to look at a few unboxing or speed build videos on YouTube, they sometimes show the box being emptied so you may be able to check someone else’s bags compared to what you have? I’m still sure yours is fine :)

Here’s a clear looking unboxing video, haven’t got time to check it for you but worth a look!

Thanks mate!

That does look identical to my contents - thats reassuring!

Possibly that this model is the v2 or a later iteration of the original design and that they have changing the contents but only replaced the bags as required??

Either way - Im very happy i posted here before deciding on sending it back!

Hi all,

I was in the process of searching to see if others reported missing pieces to the 75257  Millennium Falcon lego set and I found this thread.

For anyone who’s been using the digital (online) book to assemble their Falcon, I discovered there’s a discrepancy between steps 189 - 182– the assembling of the cockpit and bag #5. It happened that I decided to flip open my book while my son was playing on my phone and realized the component in question is assembled differently in the book. I plan on letting Lego know about this. Was going to attach photos of the two instructions to show the difference but this site says my photos are too large.

In the end though, this kit turned out well. Nothing missing.

Hope this helps somebody.
