mktechniccreations Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 (edited) Hello again This is my attachment to an already existing MOC Challenger MT965E, i made it quite a long time after the tractor it self, therefore they are not in one video. Cultiplow Platinum 8M For the machine itself there is not much to find on internet, so i researched it through FS 19 ingame garage view, to catch the shape, also it was not made to scale, since there is complex system of linear acctuators. In total of 8 which are powered by only one input, and every pair got a bit different ratios, exept the main large linear acctuators, which have equar ratios, these four main linear acctuators opearte folding "wings" which extends width from 28 cm to 54 cm almost double dhe width, remaining four small linear acctuators operate the lowering function of entire middle assembly, two in front and two in back, mechanism can be understand by viewing the video itself. Instructions were also made by myself, this time i was a bit more experienced so there should be minimum misleading steps and great overall experience. Instructions can be found on Rebrickable.com https://rebrickable.com/users/MK.Technic/mocs/ More photos can be found on bricksafe page, or in Facebook page where every moc has dedicated album section Bricksafe album Facebook album VIDEO: [youtube] Edited June 26, 2020 by mktechniccreations Quote
howitzer Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 Very nice, I love how you've combined studless and studful construction styles into one coherent model. Quote
TeamThrifty Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 Wow... I'm a tractor guy, love them and moc them all the time. But you've just WON!!! I get bored with the aesthetics. Love building the mechanics, but then lose interest... but what you presented here with the Challenger MT965E is brilliant. I am blown away!! The 3 point linkage is a realistic geometry, (i used 2 mini LA's in the same way ), diff locks on both axles.. love it. I half did a steiger a couple of years back and used large LA's for the steering but they took up sooooo much space. You're solution with the small LA's is much better. I'm not so motivated to start a new moc now!!! Quote

Thanks a lot, but as you mentioned small LA´s solution, i found i quite troublesome too, so i switched to servo version in another project, ill show it later but here is a glimplse if you are interested. Servo (also i accidently reported your post, because i am new here, hope it will not be deleted, sorry :´D ) Quote
