This is the official thumbnail by TLG for 6912 Super Soarer. In the picture, as can be seen below, on the fuselage, between the wings and the tail, there's a black roof tile with lattice (1×2×2), on a dark grey 1×4 plate, with a dark grey 1×2 flat tile in front of it.

According to the build instructions, that sub-assembly should be the other way around, with the roof tile in front of the flat tile. I'm thinking that TLG was in a rush when they were making the photo, but I'm not surprised, because other AFOLs like Brick Builder also make obvious mistakes in their speed-builds sometimes.

The real question is then, why does this matter? LEGO is allowed to make mistakes.

Indeed, but since others are pointing out small Lego mistakes I thought I'd point out some too... for no reason.

it is fun that he found that small mistake. and no it doesn't matter, but it is there

the D model comment was funny.
