Do you like it this way?

Do you like it the way it is that we get 3 good and 3 bad guys? Personally I like it because I can make them fight eachother hardcore and not "brotherly" fighting. What are your opinions?

I'm personaly not a big fan of Bionicle but I would say that it works good for battles.

Same. Before, you'd have SIX freaking clones, all on the same team.

Then MOOOOOONTHS later, SIX freaking clones of the enemies.

Why, that's just silly, it is.

Now, you have stuff you can buy right off the shelf and go to war with.

And think, what about the poor kids who can only purchase Bionicle during Christmas or when they get birthday money?

Depending on the month they were born, they might never get either the heroes or the enemies.

That's kooky.

Even more, the 2 different factions almost HAVE to end up looking different than each other, so if you don't like a certain design, you might give Lego a second chance that fiscal quarter by having the other faction be cool enough to get you to buy'em.

If all the "matoran" this time were just 6 guys with jetpacks, it would've sucked.

Luckily, there were guys with wings instead sitting right next to them.

My ONLY fear in the current pattern is that when you don't have 6 cloned canister guys all in different colors, you might not get alot of the more desirable mocing parts in different colors in a timely manner. And that's BAD for Lego.

Still, I think the "instant war" aspect steamrolls over that one problem.

Indeed. This new way of releasing Bionicle sets may be TLC's most genuis marketing strategy yet, because it makes us all feel that our collection isn't complete unless we have the canister set and the matoran rider.

Nulled. I like it, but I don't want it like this every year. It makes for a lack of standardization.

no because when set designers do 2 different themes then TLC tells them at the last second to make em look good all side by side they stick on crappy lil jet thingys and make the mistaker look worse then they already are
