legobear Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 (edited) There is a Lego Knight in the DS game of LEGO Indiana Jones (all versions as well). Below is the link to the image from the site. I wish this crusader was really a lego minifig for us castle fans Knight Edited May 18, 2008 by legobear Quote
Shoc Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 A great fig, but actually he will be available on all platforms (well, he is an important character). Where it says 'Only available on the Nintendo DS system', it has a star in front, and is referring to the Brotherhood Access mentioned above. So we will get him in all versions of the game! :skull: Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 Strike... What is it now, 4? Fine, Strike 4. This REALLY annoys me as an average minded member to have to see all these topics springing up everywhere just because you found something on the website that MIGHT be only on the DS version(which it isn't). By the way, have you seen the Indy movies? This is the Grail Knight, the guy who's been there for hundreds of years remaining alive through the power of the Grail... Wait, why am I telling YOU all this? You should know if you are in to Indy... Anyhow, YES this guy is awesome, but NO, as Shoc pointed out, he will not only be on the DS. You need to understand the function of those asterisks. You see, one asterisk in the body of the paragraph/statement/etc. means that there will be a little phrase or sentence down below further explaining something that hasn't already been explained. Therefore, in this instance, the fact that the Brotherhood access would only be on the DS is explained is pointed out by the asterisk after mentioning Brotherhood Access, which means that somewhere on that block of text there is an expansion on that relating to it with an asterisk. Hope I educated you here. Quote

I tried to show eurobricks something I found because I think castle fans would be interested, because I'm a castle fan and I'm interested as well. We also want crusaders along with other castle products. I was hoping that Lego would turn this into a real minifig at some point. I do thank you for clarifying that up, the asterisk thing. However, I think the condecsending voice is uncalled for.......... Edited May 18, 2008 by legobear Quote
BearHeart Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Yeah, that knight does look pretty neat. Hopefully he'll show up (along with those other figs on that page) in future Indy sets. Quote

However, I think the condecsending voice is uncalled for.......... Ehh, strike 4 is referring to the fact that your topic is the fourth topic to have sprung up regarding something someone found in the new Lego Indy game. Well, you don't have to be an expert... It says he's the Grail Knight, and I guess expertise comes from seeing the movie once or twice. Yes indeed; it would be great to have a Crusaders line with the Crusaders fighting the Muslims... Sorry; I've just been a bit flustered today. Quote
Hinckley Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Sorry; I've just been a bit flustered today. Thanks for apologizing trooperdavinfelth. Everyone gets a little flustered now and then. Just remember you choose the way you deal with things. Please try not to disrespect other members next time you have a bad day or any time... Thanks. Quote
MoonCheese Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Yes indeed; it would be great to have a Crusaders line with the Crusaders fighting the Muslims... Somehow, I have a feeling that Lego won't want to release sets explicitly showing people of two religions fighting each other over, well, religion. Quote
Navy Trooper Fenson Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 (edited) I am a bit confused because, if you would be a Indy-Fan, you have had seen the trailer on the same website and you could have seen that the Grail Knight is in some scenes. To the Knight: Nice knight but I am not thinking that we do get him. A Grail temple set like this would be A) To expensive because it must be very big and B) would look like **** when it´s minimized like 7623. But I don´t give up the hope that we get some more sets from Indy 3. Tank chase and Grail temple ON! Edited May 19, 2008 by Navy Trooper Fenson Quote
legobear Posted May 20, 2008 Author Posted May 20, 2008 I guess I shouldn't use the word "fan." I can say that I like Indiana Jones because I grew up watching it (though I forgot most if not everything about it being so young) with my family. Someone's right, Lego won't make minifigs that battle over religion but hopefully they'll make this minifig as a magnet who knows. Quote
