Athos Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 Interesting idea for a game. Nice MOC too, though I'm not a fan of brick built minifig scale animals. I posted this to adventurers.dk, since it is kind of Adventurer related. Steve Quote
BlueBard Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 LOL Your hippopotamus are just so well done! And what can I say of your chicken travellers? Quote
Asuka Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 A fine game and a very nice MOC. And although the jeep and the landscaping looks great I have to say that the real stars in your creation´re for sure these neat animals.... simply fantastic! Quote
iamded Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Sounds like a very interesting idea for a game, and this is one sweet MOC! I love these, well, very cartooney animals, so cute! It took me a while to realise those grey dished were a hippo though. That lion though is again very cute, and cool, as is the giraffe! Great idea to use peg-legs as those weird knobbly things too! Some neat scenery and a very interesting jeep make this scene complete. A great job you've done here, SirNadroj, and certainly a unique work! ~Peace Quote
Basiliscus Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 It wasn't an easy task picking up the baton from the great Keith Goldman but this is fantastic! You certainly weren't intimidated! My favourite is the brick-built giraffe. The pith helmet on the chicken was brilliant - that made me laugh! Where did you get the brown legs with the blue bits on them by the way? Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 This moc really makes me wish Lego had given us a safari theme. I love the color and the animals, esp. the giraffe; and the SNOT technique for the base is genious. Very nice. Quote
Corvus Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Cool. The hippo is cute. The giraffe (that's a baby? ) is pretty cool, and the tree is great. Hands as parrot feet- Quote
Tanotrooper Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 Hungy hungry hippos! Love the hippo design though, as well as the feet of the birds. I really need that dark tan pith helmet for soms MOCs... TT Quote
Dovchenko Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 I really like the ideas here. Very well made, with some neat artistic ideas never seen before here on Eurobricks. But seriously, this MOC reminds me of Dr Seuss. Quote
