AFOL SF Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 As the title says, it there a way to contact certain people who post their MOCs on BrickShelf? Does one have to be a registered user on the website to do so? Thanks in advance for your responses. Quote
The Rancor Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 Some people who use brickshelf do not use Eurobricks, and vice versa Quote
Saint Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 Sometimes builders post their E-mail aswel in a file on Brickshelf, it just takes a little work to find out. Also, some builders do MOC Pages , when your lucky . Sometimes builders leave "clue's " about their were-abouts.. It's just like a puzzle . Grtz Saint Quote
Athos Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 No easy direct way to do it through brickshelf. Steve Quote
AFOL SF Posted May 15, 2008 Author Posted May 15, 2008 Thanks again for your responses. So it's like a dead-end or locating a needle in a haystack... That's what I thought since I couldn't find any info about individuals who post on BrickShelf. Oh well... life goes on. Quote
Athos Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 You could post a link to the gallery and see if anyone knows who's it is. Steve Quote
Darth_Legois Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 I always wondered about this too rarely they have their email address shown :/ its almost imposible to find him/her unless its someone here or someone here knows that person or if they have mocpages. (pretty much what everyone else said ) Quote
Shadows Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 Ok, seriously, as Athos has said twice... post a link to the gallery. It isn't always hard to find people, and with all of the information we may be able to help. Otherwise, why start a thread about it? Quote

Otherwise, why start a thread about it? I'll admit it... I'm stupid when it comes to computers. One reason why I couldn't post a link to the gallery. But if any of you have the time and talent, maybe you can help me out... Once in BrickShelf, do a search by typing "Yamato" and several folders will be displayed. The one I'm talking about is a MOC of this great ship 'sinking' as in an anime-style. It cracks me up everytime I look at it due to the minifigs' facial expressions. I want to know who made it so I can contact this guy/gal and ask him/her some questions about it. Hope you guys can help. Not all of us are computer-savvy. Quote

(picture is link) I think you mean this one, it is indeed very funny, thanks for giving the directions! - Edit: the gallery belongs to user: cbolego, he has lots of other interesting builds as well. - Edited May 17, 2008 by simonwillems Quote
Ralph_S Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 (edited) He is on MOCpages as well. One way of contacting him is writing him a review and perhaps asking him to send you a reply. You do need to leave your e-mail address, but that is an option when you write a review on MOCpages, even if you don't have your own account there. Cheers, Ralph Edited May 17, 2008 by Ralph_S Quote
AFOL SF Posted May 17, 2008 Author Posted May 17, 2008 simonwillems and ralph s... thank you so much!... That's the one I'm talking about. Ain't it funny? It makes my day everytime I see that. Well, I'm heading over to MOCpages and try to contact him. Again, my thanks to all of you for being so helpful! I've been learning alot since I joined EB... Quote
