Hi,

don’t know where to start so here I go.

bought an CaDA excavator, no issue unit first charge of the battery.

unplugged it and it didn’t work - looks like there’s no charge.
took the battery pack apart and found this. Should this ‘free’ white wire be attached somewhere?
I tested it with mulitimeter and when plugged in to the socket it seems to be ok but when external power is removed there’s no charge left.
Any help?

thanks!

Hi SnakeDoctor, maybe you can try buying Control+ or some other LEGO solution. Of course you pay more but you also get the quality. B.t.w. welcome to Eurobricks, hope you enjoy your stay, but also read the rules on clone brands. I (initially) did not know what CaDa was and just thought you missed an S (SCADA, or supervisory control and data acquisition) which could of course also use batteries :).

On the module, maybe this is in helpful (https://www.technic-dialog.de/Homepage/index.php?page=11&sub=thread&thread= in German though).

That wire could be the antenna for the 2.4GHz radio.

We have a topic on CADA in our Technic Forum, you can try there https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/167699-cada-battery-with-4-motor-outputs-and-remote-control/

That’s it. Much help. Thanks!

ive decided to just buy another battery, take it apart and see what’s what inside :)
