Darth Andrew Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 (edited) I really wasn't sure to put this. Yeah, it's kinda based off the upcoming Indy IV movie, but it doesn't actually deal with it. So here is the tank I built today, the GLORIOUS T-53: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/56795 EDIT: I also made a scene for it, titled "The Cold War Heats Up:" http://mocpages.com/moc.php/56887 Comments? Constructive criticisms? Soviet Russias? Edited May 10, 2008 by Darth Andrew Quote
Corvus Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 Hey, that's cool. It's always great when someone builds a MOC out of a set. Quote
MagPiesRUs Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 Wow, a very nice tank you've made there, especially considering that it is an alternate model I like the turret and the front 'plough' looks great. Is the tank sturdy? If so, I'd be interested in building one myself Great job Darth Andrew Quote
Asuka Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 A very neat and pretty detailed tank indeed, in an especially fine color scheme! Quote
Darth Andrew Posted May 10, 2008 Author Posted May 10, 2008 Thanks for all the comments! I made a little scene for it today: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/56887 @TinyPiesRUs: It's extremely sturdy, though the plough can come off if you nudge it too much. Quote
Wout Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 Looks very good. The tank is very good. (BTW, since when had the sovjet Russians Jungles? ) The checkpoint Charlie scene is very nice done with the explosion, but I'm happy the Sovjets didn't do this in real. It would make europe so messy. Quote
Joey Lock Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 Im getting all new Indy sets soon Is that made, Purely from the Set? Quote

It would make europe so messy. Me too. It probably would have started World War III. @Joey Lock and zero: No, but most of it is from River Chase and Jungle Cutter. Some of the plates that cover the treads I used from my own collection, along with a few dark green tiles and the dark grey dish on top of the turret. I also got the barrel from the AT-AP set. Other than that, it's all from those two sets. Edited May 12, 2008 by Darth Andrew Quote

Batbrick Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 Fantastic job there, I love doing things like that, and the tank looks great and very intimidating Batbrick Away! Quote
