3Blin1k1 Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 (edited) Hi, I need some advice on selling my legos. I have a LOAD of sets I bought a few years back brand new and opened them, thinking I was going to keep them. However, I'm in situation where I have no choice but to sell most/all of them. They are mainly older Pirate sets (1989-1997) and some Castle sets from the 1994-1996 era. Some Western, and some various other themes. Basically mint condition and all of them come with their original boxes, pamphlets and instructions. Every set is complete, absolutely no pieces missing. Some sets include: -6245 -6235 -6271 -6232 -6244 -6204 -6249 -6018 -10000 -10040 -6115 -6716 -6764 and quite a few more... So my question is, what's the best way to sell these on eBay? Would it be better to list them in one big lot, or separate the more valuable sets into separate auctions? Thanks for any help. Edited May 9, 2008 by 3Blin1k1
Minifig Lecturer Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 I would think selling them individually would make you more.
Captain Green Hair Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 Seeing this is your first post...and includes a question i see no point in putting the list of sets in there. This seems to me that you are trying to sell them here.... Why don't you introduce yourself in the ''hello my name is'' thread first? But to answer your question, seperatly selling them will propably make you more.
Vaders_son Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 Selling them seperately will be more effort but will most certainly end with higher prices. Maybe this should be moved to the BSTF? Benny
3Blin1k1 Posted May 9, 2008 Author Posted May 9, 2008 (edited) Actually, I'm dead-set on putting them up on eBay. I simply wanted advice so that I know I'm getting the most for my effort. I've always been under the impression that if people see a bunch of things in one sale, they get enticed into bidding more than if it's a single item. But if I were to sell the bigger sets separately, they would fetch more? By the way, hi everyone. Yeah when I joined the forum it said I do not have permission to post in the other sections. Maybe due to the fact that I signed up here, and not on Eurobricks in general? Edited May 9, 2008 by 3Blin1k1

You can introduce yourself in the community forum from the mainpage
El Bucanero Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 It seems your question had been answered. Sorry, but new members are not allowed to sell stuff on Eurobricks, so this topic can be closed now. Make sure to introduce yourself in the Hello! My name is forum, and welcome to Eurobricks!
