Franziska63 Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 (edited) Hello World ;-) my name is Franziska and I am AFOL located in Frankfurt, Germany. I left the dark ages a couple of years ago, when a friend surprised me with a LEGO gift of a building, that we had visited before while traveling to the US. So it was the famous Robie House from the Architecture series that brought my attention to the bricks again after several decades without contact. My father owned a LEGO collection with over 50,000 parts already in the early 60's that were going to be my childhood playground. I still own that old collection and after my "brick-rebirth" through the Robie House gift I started to collect lots of sets, mostly from the Architecture theme, Modular Buildings and Creator Expert series. In between my husband also began to show interest in LEGO again so that our collection today also includes several Technic sets. All by all there are about 400,000 bricks currently living with us. I have also started building some MOCs, two of them can be found on rebrickable (search for user Franziska). I am looking forward to new inspiration browsing here and probably may be more on the reading than on the posting side due to restrictions in time.
