Hello everyone,

As I said before, I create concepts for WIP projects that I don't show you because I lack interest before finishing some MOCs. That's why I decided to create this topic!
At the same time, I think (at least for me) it is better to create a single topic gathering all my future MOCs and WIPs. So here it is :classic:

I don't plan to show my old MOCs but I can provide the links to the folders :

Brickshelf

Bricksafe

I will begin with 2 things :

FENWICK Forklift :

When @Attika presented his small forklifts, I immediately wanted mine. After some research, I finally found that some MODs could transform it into a Fenwick (1:22 scale). Its features are similar for the steering and for the raising/lowering of the boom. This boom really is the section where all is different because it uses a cable system rather than a gear/rack. The rack was too long and in the driver's vision. A worm gear is hidden it the upper section.

Mack Anthem daycab + flatbed trailer :

The second MOCs concern the Mack Anthem (yeah again :classic:). This is a daycab version and a classic flatbed trailer (copied on the one made by @Void_S). I used the configurator on the truck manufacturer website to obtain realistic wheelbase and side equipment. The steering is a bit improved since my Granite as there now is a proper 1:3 reduction instead of a 12:20.

The rest of the work is mainly to focus on the proportions compared to the real truck. Considering the set, this implies:

  • Lowering the roof by 1 stud. It changes many things actually because the steering mechanism had to be modified...
  • Shortening the hood and the front bumper
  • Lowering the grill to allow a rounder hood
  • Lowering the mudguards
  • Making the headlights thinner

I am quite pleased with what I have now

To inform you: I don't plan to keep this classic tractor unit and flatbed trailer configuration. I want to explore another thing, why not a heavy-duty wrecker. All the functions would be manual including outriggers, boom raise, fork lowering, boom extension, and 2 winches.

What do you think about the Century 7035? See below:

I am impressed with the forklift! I love how you used the flex axles to detail the bodywork and it just feels right!

Thanks
