Hi, Looking for some help please... just completed the build on my Leibherr R 9800 with no issues but had problems completing set up on the CONTROL+ app. It repeatedly asks me to update the firmware. Both hubs connect to the app ok but every time both need to go through the firmware update. I re-installed the app and then repeated the set up but no luck even after 10+ updates. On one occasion both connected and the whole build works perfectly until I closed the app and now cannot get it to open again without  the firmware update issue

Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?

Thanks

This is a strange one. On my 42099 I didn't have to do this even when removing the batteries from the hub. NORMALLY this would lead me to suspect a faulty hub but in this instance you have 2, and I think it would be very unlikely that both are faulty, but I guess it can happen if there's a faulty batch. Are you using disposable batteries or rechargeable? What operating system is on your smart device and how much spare memory do you have? I don't know if these are the right questions to ask but hopefully someone smarter than me might gleam some insight into your issue from the answers. Failing that, Lego's own customer support is usually very good.

Hi, I am using re-chargeable batteries and I phone is fully up to date with latest version and plenty of spare memory. I think unlikely these are causing the issue. This morning after going through the process of the firmware upgrade a few times all worked perfectly... until I close the app and re-opened.. the app then asks for a firmware update again. I did log a question with Lego's customer support online so will see what they suggest.
