Hawkeye Pierce torso

I've been wanting for a while to make a few M*A*S*H lego characters, so I pulled up Paint.NET and tried my hand at a torso.

So, here we have Hawkeye, with bathrobe:

I was fairly pleased with it, so I went on to make a face...It was a disaster. So I still have a face and legs to do.

I was thinking of Brassoing the new Russian Army torsos from the Indie line. They'll make nice fatigues.

I really love M*A*S*H and I love this idea! It looks good to me. Very cool idea. I hope that you make some other characters from M*A*S*H in the future and maybe a MOC too.. I would love to see that.

Are you planning to build the whole thing with tents and helicopters or just the figures?

I don't know the show, but I must say this is a very detailed and profetional decal here.

Just one thing: could you photoshop it to keep the decal and leave out the plain background ? It would easier to use for others, too

My Dad used to watch M*A*S*H , and was able to play the theme tune on piano, but from what I remember I used to think it was about vegetables.... wait, no, that that torso is good! I asked him who it was and he said " Indiana Jones? Oh, wait the M*A*S*H guy."

Now that's giving me a very nice idea. For now the figs are enough to focus on. If I can tackle that milestone, I'd really like to try making some tents.

I actually used the pic from the tutorial, since I wasn't sure how to draw the torso to the right proportions, so I copied and pasted that.

Sorry, MASSIVE M*A*S*H fan, book, film and TV Show. Own all of them. You could go for Sutherlands portrayal http://www.imdb.com/media/rm3739588864/tt0066026 which is closer to the book, and thus real life.

But you could make a lot of characters, and Radar's hat is already available!
