mfair Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 (edited) Hi, Is it straight forward enough to run two separate trains on a single layout using the Powered Up functions? Is this best (or only) achieved by having multiple controllers? I have purchased the 60197 Passenger set and the 60198 Cargo/Freight set plus quite a lot of extra track including six switches. Ideally I’d like to perform some shunting operations in a separate part of the layout simultaneous to running the passenger service on a wider arc of track. Thanks in advance for your help. Roadmonkeytj Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 In your scenerio yes. Run two separate hubs with the pass service on the controller and the shuntting using the app so you can customize speeds Quote
